We are seeking TWO talented, creative and emotionally resilient individuals to join our fabulous team of Teaching Assistants here at Churchdown Village Junior School.

The vacancies are to support two Year 5 pupils, both of whom have a complex range of social, emotional and behavioural needs that are currently impacting on the huge learning potential that they have.

You would be well supported by senior leaders and other school staff in managing the challenges that this role could present. Both posts are to support children in the same class, so you would be working alongside a colleague working in a very similar role.

Experience of Thrive/ELSA or a similar nurture intervention programme would be very beneficial, as would recent Team Teach training.

You must also be experienced in working closely with parents and a wide range of professionals.


Working pattern:
Monday to Friday
08.40 – 12.00 TA(SEN)   Grade 3
12.30 - 13.25 MDSA(SEN) Grade 2
13.25 - 14.00 TA(SEN)   Grade 3

Working pattern:
Monday to Friday
08.40 – 12.30 TA(SEN) Grade 3 (every day)
13.25 – 15.20 TA(SEN) Grade 3 (three afternoons per week – days to be negotiated)
